Used 2014 Becker VTLF 2-250 Vacuum Pumps
This set of 2 Becker VTLF 2.250 vacuum pumps came off of a Anderson Stratos CNC Router where the customer upgraded to a central vacuum system but held on to these as a back up.
They have less that 300 hours on them and would be considered slightly used but in VERY GOOD condition…almost new.
What is a Becker Rotary Vane Pump?
Becker vacuum pumps are among the most common vacuum pumps selected by
most all the popular CNC Router manufacturers in North America but also Germany and Italy.
The nice thing about these type of Becker pumps is that they are fairly quiet and oil-less.
Low maintenance because the “vanes” can be replaced after significant ware and local repair
shops can even replace the bearings when they eventually go bad.
Most applications on CNC Routers are on Nested based applications where full sheets of
plywood, MDF or particle board are held down and multiple parts are cut from the sheet.
Rotary Vane pumps are fairly quiet and east to maintain but an application that really needs
a lot of vacuum per square inch my need a different type of pump. Small parts, for example,
may need a oil type pump so that it can really generate a much higher vacuum pressure.
For the most part these VTLF pumps are great for 80% of the wood and plastic applications.
